Thakurdeo Rampersaud is a Certified Public Accountant who was born to
Indian immigrants in Brooklyn, New York. He wanted to use his natural
skills with numbers and finances to start a career in his new country.
Mr. Rampersaud earned his certification as an accountant and quickly
started to rise in his professional station. While he attended Stetson University in Florida in pursuit of his Master’s degree in Business
Administration, he worked his way up to a Senior Accountant position
with a local business. He moved on to become a Senior Financial Analyst
and eventually Accounting Manager. After he graduated from Stetson, he
worked hard and rose to become the Director of Finance at Hyatt Vacation
Ownership, Inc., a position he holds today.
Thakurdeo Rampersaud completed his educational and experiential requirements to become a CPA at the same time. He wanted to rise in his career and make up for lost time. All CPAs are required to spend 150 semester hours learning accounting practices and work as accountants for two years before they can sit for the CPA exams. When it came time for Thakurdeo Rampersaud to take part one of his CPA exam, he wasn’t nervous. He knew the ethics and the methods for proper accounting in line with federal and state regulations. He passed all four parts of his exam with flying colors. The rest is history.
Thakurdeo Rampersaud hopes to continue to provide financial solutions and top-notch accounting help to his employers at Hyatt Vacation Ownership. He also uses his position of power to help his community as much as possible by offering his services to local charities and organizations.
